David's Arctic Fox image, entitled Endurance, was shortlisted by National Geographic photo editors in this year's prestigious Travel Photographer of the Year 2018.
The image, which was captured during a five day expedition to Hornstrandir on the edge of the Arctic Circle in winter, sees a rare blue morph fox using its tail as a scarf as it endures extreme conditions as strong winds, sub zero temperatures and a blizzard all take their toll.

Winners
Winners of Travel Photographer of the Year have been unveiled and, although David's image didn't make the final stages on this occasion, he was still happy to be recognised in such a high profile competition.
